About Dogs for Autism
The Dogs for Autism charity's vision is to train and provide assistance dogs, at no charge, to autistic individuals of any age who will significantly benefit from such a partnership. Their dogs can enable their people to more easily access the world around them and to expand their horizons
They aim to have a positive impact on the lives of autistic individuals and their families. Their overall aim is to empower autistic people to realise their individual potential, improve their access to their chosen communities, and to enhance their emotional and physical wellbeing.

Why have we chosen to support this charity?
We are a family run business and we have a very special member of the family who is autistic. Arlo is 5 years old and was diagnosed with Autism at 4 years old. We were aware that Arlo was on the autism spectrum disorder from the age of 2 years old. There were many signs such as lining up toys and requiring a routine, however the most obvious sign was that he was non-verbal. Arlo is still non-verbal at 5 years old.
Arlo has taught us so much and he truly has opened our eyes up to how incredible autistic individuals can be.
As soon as we began running our business we wished to support a dog charity. After some research we found Dogs for Autism which is an amazing charity and of course they also support Autistic individuals which is incredible. We know from our own experience that dogs can really make a positive impact on the lives of an autistic individual. Arlo has an incredible bond with our two miniature dachshunds at home, they really are the best of friends. Being able to support a charity that train assistance dogs for autistic individuals is a real honour.
